Since the release of a new EP in the summer of 2007, Blindside has continued working on a 2008 full-length studio album. Originally aiming for a January, 2008 release, news of the record's finish has been slim to none, but just as the new year rang in, the band decided to update their fans on the latest inside the Blindside camp...
"In the summer of 2007, we released the Black Rose EP on our own and it has been a great experience for us. The music industry is rapidly changing and the importance of the record companies are becoming smaller for each day.As we write and record new material in 2008, we are still trying to figure out the best way to release a record these days. While figuring this out, we believe that we have to have a record done with artwork and the whole package until we really know which way to go.
To end this year properly, we would like to send out our best holiday wishes to all of you who supports this band and our vision and we're looking forward to seeing all of you in a not too distant future.
God bless and we'll see you in 2008!"
